
BRC/IOP - Global Standard for Food Safety - Certification
The BRC (British Retail Consortium) Global Standards for Food were created to ensure supplier compliance and secure retailers' ability to guarantee the quality and safety of the food products that they sell. The new Global Standard for Food Safety was published in January 2008, which the food industry are expected to meet and be certified to, from July 2008.
Having BRC Certification enables us to provide trust to customers and consumers about our company's capability to manage the food safety related risks in regard to the production of the labels we produce. The most important European retailers and many food processing industries established BRC certification as mandatory requirement to be included in their food and/or ingredients supplier list which we fully embraced ath the time and have been accredited ever since.
