The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing customer artwork for print, making printing plates and maintaining equipment. Ensuring all files meet required specifications before entering production. Accuracy, efficiency, and a strong understanding of print workflows are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Preflighting customer artwork files to ensure print readiness

• Identifying and correcting file issues such as colour, resolution, bleed, and fonts

• Preparing files for press in line with production requirements

• Liaising with internal teams to resolve artwork queries efficiently

• Maintaining high quality standards and meeting tight deadlines

• Making printing plates and maintaining equipment

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a pre-press role within the print industry

• Strong knowledge of artwork preflighting and file preparation

• Experience using Heidelberg Prinect software is highly desirable and a key advantage for this role

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
